Question

In a circuit diagram, two resistance wire A and B are of same area of cross-section and same material connected in parallel to each other.Wire A is longer than wire B. Two ammetersA1 and A2 are also attatched ,one with resistance wire A and one with resistance wire B. Which ammeter indicate higher reading for current? Give reason.

ammeters 2 shows a higher reading since wire a one is longer it has greater resistance and so draws lesser current so more current flow through B and a2 shows a higher reading
