V = IR where V is voltage across R, I is current through R, and R is the resistance.

Algebra can pick out current.

I = V/R

In this case, I = 5 volts/(100 ohms plus load resistance)

Then you can use V = IR to calculate the voltage drop across the 100 ohm resistor.
