Let a circular track with centre 'O' and OA and OB be radius and join AB.
Since, length of the track=) circumference of track
=) 400= 2πr
=) r= 400/2π =) 200/π
=) Now, in right angled ∆OAB, by pythagoras theorem
=) AB2=OA2+OB2
=) AB2= R2+R2
=) AB = √[200/π]2+ [200/π]2
= 200√2 whole divided by π
=) 90.06 meter (approx.)
