in a city the rate of population growth is 2% of the population in the beginning of the year.If the present population of the city is 20,00,000 then what will be the population of the city after 3 years?​

Answer:

This is a deceptively tricky question. Here’s my math:

2% of 200,000 = 4,000

So in year 1 = 204,000

2% of 204,000 = 4,080

So after 2 years the town size after 2 years = 208,080

Right? I didn’t use a calculator.
