no. of girls in the class= 3/5 of x = (3/5)×x = 3x/5

it is said that out of these no. of girls,ie,1/5 of 3x/5 are absent,so the present no of girls out of the total no. of girls will be 4/5 of 3x/5=(4/5)×(3x/5)=12x/25= 12/25 of x

that means ,the no of girls present on that day= 12/25 of total students
