In a class ,30percent of students got more than 60percent marks and 84 students got 60percent marks .If the no. of students who got less than 60 percent marks is one fourth of the students who got 60 percent marks,then find the total no. of students in the class.

let the total no. of students to be x.

A/Q - 30 percent got 60 percent +Marks and students who got 60 percent are 84 and no. of students who got less than 60 percent are 1/4×84 = 21

now total no. of students up to 60 percent or below are 84+21 = 105

A/Q - x-105 = 30 percent of x(more than 60 percent)

=> x-105 = 3x/10

=> x-3x/10 = 105

=> 7x/10 = 105

=> 7x = 1050

=> x = 150
