Number of girls in the class= 20 girls

As Given, →40% of boys = 1/2 of the girls

Let number of boys = x

→40 x/100= $\frac{1}{2}$ ×20

→$\frac{40x}{100}$ =10

→ 40 x = 1,000

→ x =$\frac{1000}{40}$=25

Number of Students in the class = number of boys + number of girls

                                                       =  25 + 20

                                                       = 45 students
