probability that he has offered Physics or Chemistry only.​

let b= student of chemistry = p(b) = 20/100

probability that student of both subject is p(anb) = –5/100

thn required the probability is p(aub)=p(a)+p( b ) —p(anb)

40/100+20/100 —5/100=55/100
