In a class , 65% of the total number of students are boys and there are 14 girls. How many students are there in class? Also find number of boys in the class ​

65% = x ( number of boys)

14% ( which is 100%-60% ) = 14 ( number of girls)

Cross Multiply

x = (65 x 14) / 40

x = 21.

Hence the number of boys are 21. So the total number of students are : 21 + 14 = 35.
