Answer:

p(A)=70/100=7/1

p(B)=50/100=5/10=1/2

p(AറB)=30/100=3/10

p(AUB)=p(A)+p(B)-p(AറB)

=7/10+1/2-3/10

=9/10

p(A'റB')=p(AUB)'

=1-p(AUB)

=1-9/10

=1/10

=10%

Answer:

event A in English 70% students pass p(A)=70%

event B in Tamil 50% students pass p(B)=50%

event that in both the subjects 30% students pass p(A intersection B)=30%

event that atlest fail in subject is how much?

p(A uinion B) =p(A)+p(B)-p(A intersection B)

=70%+50%-30%

=70/100+50/100-30/100

=90/100

=90%
