let the total no of students be X = 100

5% students drink neither tea and coffee

so, 100-5=95,

95% either tea or coffee.

50% drink coffee

to find the people who drink only tea

95-50=45% drink only tea

45%=72 given

now X x 45%=72, so X=160 by solving the equation

50% students who drink coffee = 80 students

25% both tea and coffee = 40

so, only coffee = 40 and only tea = 72

hence the no. of students who drink only tea or only coffee is

(72+40) = 112 Answer
