 \huge\bf\underline{Solution:-}

Total number of Questions in test = 15

Number of correct Questions = 8

Let the number of incorrect answers be x

So,

Total Questions answered by Kumar contains wrong answer and correct answers.

therefore ,

  • 8 + x = 15
  • x = 15 - 8
  • x = 7

Hence,

Number of incorrect answers answered by Kumar = 7

▶️ According to Question :--

5 marks are awarded for every correct answers and-2 marks are awarded for every incorrect answers.

Marks for correct answers = number of correct answers × marks for 1 correct answer

  • ≫ 8 × 5 = 40

Marks for incorrect answers = number of incorrect answers × marks for incorrect answers

  • ≫ 7 × (-2) = -14

Total score of = 40 - 14

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 26

Hence,

✝️Kumar score 26 marks in his test
