Answer:

There are 130 students .

Step-by-step explanation:

Total no of paise = 169 × 100 = 16900 paise

So , x sq = 16900

x = 130

Then x sq = 130× 130 = 16900

So , there were 130 students and each student contribute 130 paise or 1.3 RS

Answer:

The number of students in the class is 130.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

  • Let the number of students in the class be x.
  • Contribution of rupees by each student is Rs x
  • The total collection of the class is Rs 169
  • Total no of paise = 169 × 100 = 16900 paise

To Find:

The number of students in the class = ?

Solution:

16900 = ( x ) × ( x )   ...................................(1)

x² = 16900

Take square root on both the sides. we get,

\sqrt{x^{2} }  = \sqrt{16900}  ......................................(2)

x = \sqrt{130^{2} }

x^{} = 130  ..................................................(3)

Equation (3) gives the answer.

  • Therefore, If the collection of the class was Rs 169The number of students in the class was 130.
  • And each student of the class contributes 130 paise or 1.3 rupees.

Answer = 130 students
