Given,

Total number of children's = Total number of outcomes = 25

Probability of an event =

possible number of outcomes / total number of outcomes

As per the question,

1) P(child chosen is in the athlete team)

= (boys present in athlete team + girls present in athlete team) / total number of children's

= \frac{14}{25}

= 0.56

2) P (child chosen is a female)

= total number of girls / total number of students

= \frac{15}{25}

= 0.60

3) P(child chosen is female member of athlete team)

= girls present in athlete team / total number of students

= \frac{6}{25}

= 0.24
