We have given that there are 25 students and 60% of them are boys.
We have to find the number of boys in the class.

First we find 60% of 25-
= 25  x  60/100
= 60/4
= 15

No of students in class=100
no. of girls=25%of 100
= 25
no. of boys=75%of 100
=75
no. of boys having black hair=40% of (no. of boys)
=40% of 75
=40/100×75
=30

no. of girls having black hair=20% of (no. of girls)
=20% of 25
=20/100×25
=5

Total no. of students having black hair in the class=
(30+5)= 35

Percentage of students having black hair in the class
=no. of students having black hair/total no. of students in the class×100
=35/100×100
=35% is the answer
