Hey...!!!

Number of Students in a class = 100
Number of Students passed in mathematics = 50
Number of Students passed in English = 70
Number of Students failed in both = 5
So, total number of students failed in exactly one subject = (100 - 70) + (100 - 50) - 5
= 30 + 50 - 5
= 80 - 5
= 75

Hope it helps...!!!
