total marks scored by 100 students in first class = 100×30
= 3000
total marks obtained by 50 sttudents in another class = 50×60
=3000
total no. of students = 100+50
=150
total marks obtained by 150 students = 3000+3000
=6000
hence , mean marks obtained by the students of the two classes taken together = 6000/150
=40
= 3000
total marks obtained by 50 sttudents in another class = 50×60
=3000
total no. of students = 100+50
=150
total marks obtained by 150 students = 3000+3000
=6000
hence , mean marks obtained by the students of the two classes taken together = 6000/150
=40
