in a class of 150, where girls are twice the number of boys. Riyan (a boy) ranked 41st from the top. If there are 19 girls ahead of Riyan, how many boys are after him in rank?​

Answer:

riyan's rank = 41st

students ahead of him = 40

girls ahead of him = 19

therefore boys ahead of him = 40-19=21

150=50+50+50

no.of girls is twice the no.of boys...

therefore no.of girls = 50+50=100

no.of boys= 50

boys ahead of him= 21

riyan himself is a boy

so no.of boys ahead of riyan including him= 22

no.of boys ranked after him= 50-22= 28

50- boys

Rayan- 41

girls ahead Rayan-19,

then boys before Rayan 21

boys till 41- 21+1(including rayan)

50-22= 28
