In a class of 40 pupils , the number of girls is three fifths of the number of boys . Find the number of boys.

3/5x+x=40.....let no of boys be x.so,
8x/5=40
x=40*5/8=25.
now,no.of boys=25 & no.of girls=25*3/5=15....give thanks if satisfactory.
