Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number is 40.

1/5 of the total (40)like English.

1/5×40=8students.

3/5of the total like science.

3/5×40 =24 students like science

The remaining lie computer.

So 24 +8=32 students for both English and science

So 40 subtract 32 to get 8 students who like computer the fraction of students who like computer will be 8/40=1/5.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

total no. of students = 40

(a) no.of students like to study English = 1/5 of total no. of students =

                                                                                                1/5×40 = 8

(b) no.of students like to study Science = 3/5 of total no. of students =

                                                                                             3/5 ×40=  24

 (c) fraction of total no. of students like to study computer = 1/5 = 1/5×40 = 8

total no. of students =8+24+8 =40
