 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf{total \: students \:  = 40}

  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \sf{boys \:  = 15\% \: of \: 40}

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf{no \: of \: boys \:  =  \frac{15}{10 \cancel{0}}  \times 4 \cancel{0}} = {\bold \purple{6}}

 \sf{ girls \:  = total \: students \:  - no \: of \: boys \: }

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf \green{ratio \: of \: no \: of \: boys \: to \: girls}

 \:  \: \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf{boys :  \: girls = 6 : 34}

  \:  \:   \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \: \sf{boys \:  : \:  girls = \pink{3 : 17}} \\
