Dividing $100$ by $40$ it get $2.5$

$\frac{100}{40} =2.5$

Now, multiplying $2.5\times 15$ it will get $37.5$

Percentage of girls=$2.5\times 15=37.5$%

for(b),Number of boys in the class

Number of boys in the class=Total number of the student  -  Number of girls

Number of boys in the class=$40-15$
