Total number of students in class= 45
Girls in class = 4/9

Solution
No.of girls in a class = 4/9*45
=4*5
= 20 girls

No. of boys in a class = 5/9*45
= 5*5
=25 boys

There are 25 boys and 20 girls in the class.
