Let the number of boys be x
Then number of girls are 2x/5
The total no of students are 49
X+2x/5=49
5x +2x =49×5
7x=49×5
X=7×5
X=35
The no of boys are 35
Then number of girls are 2x/5

Just divide both 2/5/49=2/5×1/49
The answer is 2/245
