Number of students in a class = 56

Number of students from this class who live in a blue house :-

$= \frac{\texttt{1}}{\texttt{4}} \texttt{ \: × \: 56}$

$= \frac{\texttt{(1 \: × \: 56)}}{\texttt{4} }$

$= \frac{\texttt{56}}{\texttt{4} }$

Thus, the number of students who live in blue houses = 14

Number of students from this class who live in yellow houses :-
