Answer :

  • Option c). 1060 ✔️

Given :

  • Total number of students = 80

  • Total number of teachers = 5

To find :

  • Total number of shopping coupons =?

Step-by-step explanation :

It is Given that,

Total number of students = 80

Total teachers = 5

Now,

Each student got shopping coupons that are 15% of the total number of students. [Given]

So, Number of coupons each student got,

= 15 x 80/100

= 12

Therefore, Number of coupons each student got = 12.

Each teacher got shopping coupons, that are 25% of the total number of students. [Given]

So, Number of coupons each teacher got,

= 25 x 80/100

= 20

Therefore, Number of coupons each teacher got = 20.

Now,

Total number of shopping coupons,

= 80 x 12 + 5 x 20

= 960 + 100

= 1060.

Therefore, total number of shopping coupons = 1060.
