Answer:

Ratio is 10 : 9

Step-by-step explanation:

80 students in ratio 2:3

Considering x as a common multiple

Therefore, 2x + 3x = 80

Solving the equation, we get x = 16

Thus, there are 32 boys and 48 girls

From 80 students, the pass-fail ratio is 5:3

Considering y as a common multiple

Therefore, 5y + 3y = 80

Solving the equation, we get y = 10

Thus, 30 students failed and 50 students passed

Therefore, in 32 boys, 20 boys passed and 12 boys failed.

Therefore, in 48 girls, 30 girls passed and 18 girls failed.

--------> using the given pass-fail ratio

Thus, to find:- No. of boys passed : No. of girls failed

Therefore, taking the values

20/18 = 10/9 = 10:9

Answer = 10 : 9

Thank you!
