In a class of 90 students, amongst 50% of the students, each student got number of sweets that are 20% of the total number of students and amongst the remaining 50% of the students, each students got number of sweets that are 10% of the total number of students. how many sweets were distributed among 90 students

total sweets=(45×18)+(45×9)

18 sweets

Which means, 45 students got 18 sweets

Now, Each students got number of sweets that are 10% of the total number of students.

i.e, i.e, 10% of 90

\frac{10}{100}\times 90=9

9 sweets

So, The total number of sweets are

T=(45\times18)+(45\times9)

T=810+405

T=1215
