  1. sol:- no. of questions she answered correctly = 12. marks she obtained for correct answers = 12 ×3= 36. marks she obtained =20. marks she got because of answers the questions incorrectly= 20-36. = -16. marks given for 1 incorrect answer=(-2) therefore no. of questions she answered incorrectly = (-16)÷(-2)= 8
  2. marks minimum got is (-5) no. of questions she answered correctly = 7 marks she obtained for 7 correct answers 7×3= 21. marks she obtained for 1 incorrect answer is (-2) hence marks she obtained for incorrect answers = (-5) - 21 =(-26) therefore no. of questions she answered incorrectly = -26 ÷ (-2) = 13
