Answers
Given:-
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀According to the Question
It is given that in class test 4 marks were awarded for every correct answer , 2 marks were deducted for every incorrect answer & No marks were given for not attempting question .
No. of Marks Scored by Ravi = 20
No. of Correct answer given by him = 6
We have to calculate the No. of Question has he attempted incorrectly ? So, Let's Start
Actual marks obtained by Ravi in giving correct answer = 12 × 3 = 36
But marks obtained by him = 20
Therefore,
→ marks cut in attempting incorrect Question = 36- 20
→ marks cut in attempting incorrect Question = -16
And , also the marks deducted for each incorrect answer is -2 . So ,
The number of incorrect answer given by him = -16/-2
The number of incorrect answer given by him = 16/2
The number of incorrect answer given by him = 8
- So , the number of questions he has attempted incorrectly was 8 .
