Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

In a class test (+ 5) marks are given for every correct answer

and (–2) marks are given for every incorrect answer

and no marks for not attempting any question.

and no marks for not attempting any question.(i) Radhika scored 40 marks.

and she has got 10 correct answers

To find:-

how many questions has she attempted incorrectly?

Solution:-

Marks for correct answer = +5

Marks for incorrect answer = -2

Marks of not attempt = no marks

Score of Radhika = 40

Correct answers given by Radhika = 10

Marks for correct answers = 10×(+5)= +50

Total marks for 10 correct answers =50

score of Radhika =40

Difference= 50-40=10

Marks lost by Radhika for incorreanswe=10

Mark for 1 incorrect answer=(-2)

No.of incorrect answers given by Radhika

=10/2= 5

Answer:-

Radhika attempted 5 questions incorrectly.

Check:-

Total marks of Radhika=

marks for correct answers + Marks for incorrect answers

=> 10×5+5×(-2)

=>50-10

=>40

Radhika's score=40
