• Marks for every incorrect answer = -2
• Marks for every question not attempted = -2
• Answers correct by Ravi = 4
• Answers wrong by Ravi = 6

To find :

• Ravi's score

Solution :

Total question = 10

Number of questions attempted by Ravi = 4 +6 = 10

Therefore , he lose no marks for unattempted answers .

$\implies$ Marks obtained for 4 correct answers = 4 × Marks for every correct answer

= 4 × 5

= 20

$\implies$ Marks obtained for 6 incorrect answers = 6 × Marks for every incorrect answer

= 6 × -2

= -12

Total marks obtained by Ravi = Marks obtained from 4 correct answers + Marks obtained from 6 incorrect answers

= 20 + (-12)

= 20 -12

= 8
