In a class test, there are 12 questions. 5 marks are given for every correct answer and
(-2) marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. Find the total marks obtained by:
(a) Anjali, if she attempts 10 questions and 3 of her answers are correct.
(b)
Shivam, if he attempts all questions but only eight of his answers are correct

Anjali: 3 correct answers => 3*5=15

10 attempts, out of which 3 is correct. Therefore 7 questions are incorrect. =>7*-2=-14

Total:15-14=1.

Shivam: 8 correct answers =>8*5=40

Answered all 12 questions. Therefore 4 questions are incorrect. =>4*-2=-8

Total:40-8=32.
