In a class test there were 12 questions. Every correct answer is awarded 2 marks and
every negative answer is awarded -1 marks , and 0 marks for the questions not
attempted. If Sonia answered 8 right and 3 wrong , what is her final score ?

marks for right answer: 8 x 2 = 16

marks for wrong:  3 x -1 = -3

Total =16+ (-3)

         = 16 - 3

         = 13
