So according to the question the no. of boys are 12 more than the no. of girls.

Therefore if x is the no. of girls then x+12 is the no. of boys.

Now, x+x+12=100 i.e. x=44 no. of girls 

& no. of boys will be 44+12=56.

Therefore 56/44= 14:11
