In a class, The number of boys is more then girls by 12% of the total strength of the class. The ratio of boys to girls is? ​

Answer:

Let the no. of total student in the class is 100 and number of boy be x

Now, 12% of the 100 is 12

Then, number of girl is x−12.

Total number of student is x+(x−12)=100

Therefore, x=56

Then, the no. of boys =56

And no. of girls =44

Boys:Girls =56:44=14:11
