Answer:

15 students

Step-by-step explanation:

No.of students interested in French

= Total no. of students in the class - No. of maths students + No. of English students.

= 40 - 40*1/4 + 40*3/8

= 40 - 10 + 15

= 15 students

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

total students =40

students interested in maths = 1/4*40=10 students

students interested in english =3/8*40=15 students

students interested  in french= total students -[students interested in maths + students interested in english]

= 40-[10+15]

= 40-25

=15 students

therefore out of 40, 10 students are interested in maths ,15 students are interested in english and 15 students are interested in french.
