number of students in the class :40

number of girl student in the class :15

number of boys student in the class :

40 - 15 = 25

percentage of girl student in the class :

( \frac{15}{40} \times 100)\% \\ = 37.5\%

percentage of boys student in the class :

(100 - 37.5)\% \\ = 602.5\%

or,

( \frac{25}{40} \times 100)\% \\ = 62.5\%

using some percentage formula I have founded number of students and percentage of girls and boys students but there are many formulas for finding answer of this one question .
