so I guess that:

if there were 5 benches in 10 rows, then there would be 50 seated children.

But there are 2 new children who just joined,so I guess 52 kids.

Total number of children in the classroom are (10n + 2).

Step-by-step explanation:

There are n rows in a class room.

Each row has 5 benches.

Total number of benches = Number of rows × Number of children in each row

= 5n

Each bench can accommodate 2 children  then number of children accommodated on all benches = Total benches × number of children in each bench

= 5n × 2

= 10n

Even after this number of children standing in the class = 2

Therefore, total number of children in the class = (10n + 2)
