Given:

In a classroom there is a row of boys,

Amrit is 11th from the right

Rakesh is 19th from the left

They interchange their positions. Now, Rakesh is 25th from the left.

To find :

The total number of boys in the class.

Solution:

Amrit is 11th from the right and Rakesh is 19th from the left.

Now if they interchange their positions , Rakesh becomes 25th from the left.

So, Rakesh is 25th from left and 11th from right.

Now, he has 24 boys before him and 10 boys after him.

Total number of boys = Rakesh + Number of boys before him + Number of boys after him

Total number of boys = 1 + 24 + 10

Total number of boys = 35

Final answer:

The total number of boys in the class is 35.
