Hii dear,

You have posted incomplete question. I have seen similar question somewhere.

# Complete question-
In a closed organ pipe of length 105 centimetres standing waves are setup corresponding to 3rd overtone. What distance from the closed end a pressure node is formed?

# Answer- 45 cm

# Explaination-

# Given-

L=105cm

# Formula-

For closed organ pipe with length L,

3rd overtone is given by,

λ=4L/7

From closed end pressure node is formed at 3λ/4.

3λ/4 = 3×4L / 7×4

3λ/4 = 3L/7

3λ/4 = 3×105/7

3λ/4 = 45cm.

Hope that was useful...
