In a cloth-shop there are 150 metre silk clothes and 200 metre cotton clothes, then find its ratio.

a= metre silk clothes
b= metre cotton clothes

ratio = a/b
=150/200
=3:4

It is given that ,


Length of silk cloth = 150 m


Length of cotton cloth = 200 m


Required ratio = 150 : 200


= ( 2×3×5×5 ) : ( 2×2×2×5×5)


After cancellation we get


= 3 : 4
