In a community of 175 persons, 40 read the times, 50 read the samchar and 100 do not read any. how many persons read both the papers?​

Since 100 do not read any, number of people reading both or either of newspapers

= 175 – 100

= 75

Therefore, (40 – x) + x + (50 – x) = 75

=> x = 15

➸ 175 - 100

➸ 75
