• Ratio of number of males : number of females.

$\\ \\ \large\underline{ \underline{ \sf{ \red{solution:} }}}$

Let number of males be 'x' and females by 'y'.

According to question ,

2/3 of total males = 20% of total females .

Making eqⁿ.....

$\\ \sf \: \frac{2}{3} x = \frac{20}{100} y \\ \\ \\ \sf \: \frac{x}{y} = \frac{20 \times 3}{100 \times 2} \\ \\ \\ \sf \: \frac{x}{y} = \cancel\frac{60}{200} \\ \\ \\ \sf \: \frac{x}{y} = \frac{3}{10} \\ \\ \\ \therefore \: \boxed{ \bf \: x : y = 3 : 10}$

Hence , ratio of number of males to number of females is 3:10.
