percentageofworkersoptingpension=20%

percentageofworkersoptingprovidentfund=60%

remainingpercentage=100%−(20%+60%)

=100%−80%

=20%

Therefore, percentage of uncertain workers is 20%.

Now, moving to the second part-

Given that, difference of provident fund orienting workers and uncertain workers is 1600.

Therefore, we get

60%−20%=1600

40%=1600

40% of the total no. of workers is 1600.

Let th

40\%ofx = 1600

 \frac{40}{100}  \times x = 1600

40x = 1600 \times 100

40x = 160000

x =  \frac{160000}{40}

x = 4000

Therefore, the total number of workers in the factory is 4000.
