Probability= No of favourable outcomes of the event / Total number of outcomes

no of favourable outcomes = 27
Total number of outcomes ( bulbs ) = 600

Probability ( getting a defective bulb) = 27/600
= 9/200

Percent = 27/600 * 100%
= 27/6
= 4.5 %
