Answer:

Let, the 2nd runner-up be represented as :

X

ATP :

(5/3)x + x + (4/7)x = 36800

=⟩ [ 5x.7 + x.21 + 4x.3 ] / 21 = 36800

=⟩ 35x + 21x + 12x = 36800 . 21

[ Note : A habitual mistake which common lay-man make is multiplying greater digits as for which they end up making silly calculation errors, thereby avoid. ]

=⟩ 68 x = 36800 . 21

Hence, x = ( 36800 . 21 ) / 68

= 11364 ( gets rounded off )

( rounded off results )

For winner :

5/3 x =⟩ 5/3 . 11365 =⟩ Rs. 18942.

For 1st runner-up :

x =⟩ Rs. 11364.

For 2nd runner-up :

4/2 x =⟩ 4/2 . 11365 =⟩ Rs. 6494.

Thanks....!!
