4 marks been awarded for each correct answer and 2 marks deducted for each incorrect answer,
Madhu would have scored 50 marks. How many questions were there in the test? (Madhu

there are 20 questions in the exam

STEP BY STEP:

In the first caste -

3 x correct answer - 1 x wrong answer

= 3 x 15 - 1 X 5

= 45 - 5

= 40

in second case -

4 x correct answer - 2 x wrong answer

= 4 x 15 - 2 x 1

= 60 - 10

= 50

there are (15+5) = 20 questions in total
