I think 200 were correct. Since he left 10 questions the negative marking will be 10*0.5=-5
So 200-5=195 which is the marks scored

Answer:

Given :- In a competitive exam there are 90 multiple choice questions 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer,2 marks are deducted for every wrong answer and 0.5 marks are deducted for every unattempted question. from the total score of correct answers.if a students leaves 10 questions unattempted and scores a total of 195 marks, how many of his answers were correct

Solution :-

=> Let the answers correct be 'x'

=>Then, answer wrong = 80

--: According To Condition :-

=>4x-2(80-x) - 10(0.5) = 195

=>4x-160+2x-5 = 195

=>6x = 360
