As according to the question each correct answer is awarded with 1 mark each and the student have to solve 100 questions.

Considering here, each question is for 1 mark each and every incorrect answer will deduct 14 marks each. The total marks scored by the student 80.  

No. of questions answered: 100

1 wrong answer: 100-14 = 86

2 wrong answer: 100 – 28 = 72

Thus, 8 marks extra must be given as grace marks or handwriting grace. Thus, the student scores 72 + 8 = 80.
